At Palmside we sell quality motorsport parts, race/rally clothing apparel, motorsport accessories and Revolution competition/classic car wheels, Magnum Escort and Mini Panels, Quaife drive line components, online or from our showroom in Hoon Hay, Christchurch. We specialise in English Ford competition and road car parts for Escort, Capri, Cortina, Anglia & Classic Mini. We also carry a range of competition parts for other makes and models.

We sell top quality specialist parts and all our products are selected, sourced and imported for you from the best suppliers in the motorsport world. We can deliver parts to you, world-wide or fit them here, in our specialist motorsport workshop.
Palmside is owned and operated by Deane Buist, a highly-skilled and successful rally driver. His experience includes competing in, and familiarity with, a variety of vehicles. Deane leads the Palmside team who have a vast range of knowledge on all aspects of running and building cars. It is this knowledge and years of real experience that makes Palmside the best choice for all your motorsport parts and accessories.
Deane Buist has been rallying since 1987. He has competed in over 200 rallies from club level to the New Zealand Rally Championships and competed in the International Rally New Zealand from 1995 to 1998. His vast rallying experience also includes the Race to the Sky hill climb in Queenstown NZ as well as the Alpine rally of East Gippsland in Australia.
He has achieved great success, winning a host of competitions including the National Championship classes in 1991, 1994 and 1997; New Zealand Club 2WD in 2001 and 2002 and New Zealand Kiwi Two Class in 2003 to name but a few, competed in 2010 and 2012 Silver Fern, 2014 Silver frond and SI targa and 2017 Alpine Rally in Australia plus most local rallies.
